- February 11 - The Niobrara Valley Outdoor Education Partnership will be offering a free nature activity and open house Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Niobrara Council Office at 280 North Main Street in Valentine. Stop in from 11AM - 3PM for refreshments, a prize drawing and a take-home project for the kids.

- February 25 - The Sheridan County 4-H Market Beef Weigh-in will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 9-11:00am at the Sheridan Livestock Auction in Rushville.
- February 29 - Beltone Hearing Aid Center will have free hearing tests at the Hacienda in Gordon on Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 11AM - 1PM.
- Children's Story Time is held every Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Martin City Library.
- If you have a speeding ticket or other minor traffic violation, the STOP program may be the solution you are looking for. To take advantage of the STOP program in Sheridan County, individuals must register with 10 working days of receiving the ticket and complete the class within 45 days of receiving the ticket. - Alcoholics Anonymous meets regularly on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays in Valentine at the Presbyterian Church and in Martin at the Episcopal Church at 8PM. Alanon meet at 8PM on Mondays at the Presbyterian Church in Valentine.
