  • The Rock County Board of commissioners meeting will be held Tuesday, September 17th at 9:00 AM in the County Clerks office.

  • The Cherry County Board of Commissioners will have an Emergency meeting on Tuesday, September 17th at 3:30 PM CST in the Commissioner Meeting Room of the Cherry County Courthouse.

  • The Cherry County Board of Commissioners special meeting will be held Tuesday, September 17th at 4:30 PM in the Valentine High School Auditorium.

  • The Valentine VFW meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 17th at 7:00 PM at the Veterans Club.

  • The Martin chamber of commerce meeting/Luncheon will be held Thursday, September 19th at 11:00 AM hosted by Brian & Dawn Jaeger and held at Martin Livestock.

  • The Gordon City Council will hold a special meeing at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 19th in the City Council Chambers of the City Auditorium.

  • The Martin Volunteer Fire Department Meeting will be held Thursday, September 19th at 7:00 PM in the fire hall.

  • The Solid Waste Agency of Northwest Nebraska (SWANN)  meeting will be held  on Thursday, September 19th, at 7:00 PM, in the City Hall Council Chambers.

  • The Gordon Memorial Hospital Board of Directors meeting will be held Tuesday, September 24th, at 5:00 PM in the James Panzer Classroom in the Hospital.

  • The Gordon Chamber of Commerce will be serving soup and dessert on Friday, September 27th in the Chamberlain Pier parking lot starting at 4pm. This is the kick off to the harvest fesitval..Free will donation for the feed.

The EPA is requesting public comment on two Underground Injection Control Draft Permits and one proposed aquifer exemption for Dewey-Burdock uranium site located near Edgemont, SD.
